yogurt dinner rolls

Gorgeously soft swirls of fun!

I absolutely love these dinner rolls. I had such a great time rolling the dough and playing around with different shapes before settling with this design. Please try it and let me know what you think!

Ingredients

* 2 1/8 cup flour
* 1/8 cup sugar
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp yeast
* 1 egg
* 2/3 cup greek yogurt
* 1/8 cup butter

1. Combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt

2. Add yogurt and an egg to the dry ingredients and mix well

3. Then, incorporate the butter

4. Let the bread rise for 60 minutes. Cover the dough with a wet cloth or towel

5. Deflate the dough and divide it into 8 parts

6. Let the dough rest for another 15 minutes

7. Roll out the dough into a flat disk, then roll the dough into a log. Repeat for all 8 pieces

8. Cut the rolled doughs in half and stand them up in a pan

9. Let the dough rest for another 60 minutes at room temperature. Cover the dough to prevent it from drying out

10. Gently paint on an egg wash (beat an egg and paint a thin later of it on the surface of the dough)

11. Bake the bread at 350F for 15 - 17 minutes
